Acreditamos piamente que o trio de Newcastle, verdadeiro fundador do Black Metal não necessite de maiores apresentações. A história da banda explica tudo por si mesma. A expressão Black Metal foi inventada por eles. Eles foram e ainda são verdadeiros demonolátras e praticantes de magia negra no termo mais explícito da palavra: realizam rituais macabros, profanam cemitérios, necrotérios e templos religiosos das mais variadas inclinações pseudo-religiosas. E ainda tiveram a pachorra de gravar uma missa negra em andamento. Dizem que outras bandas também já fizeram isso, mas o Venom foi a primeira e talvez a única da qual tenhamos prova de tal ousadia.
